Just guessing, but maybe they'll deliberately avoid replacing him with one man and take the Miami Horns on the road with them from here on.
Assuming the Stones are done with large-scale touring, Bobby Keyes could be a good fit: big lungs, pedigree, etc. But he's almost 68, and there might be issues between him and Bruce if substance abuse is still a problem for him.
DC sax god Ron Holloway would be an interesting choice. He's certainly got the chops, but may feel confined in the E Street Band.
