What a shallow comment. There is more to the world than just rock and roll. Lennon had varied tastes. Ballet is a beautiful melding of classical music and dance. Some great stuff...but alas some find it hard to appreciate other cultural opportunities.

We blast the Stones for playing the same old warhorses, Then we criticise someone when they try something new. You can't win when you're famous.

He has three albums coming out within the year. The classical piece, an album of standards, and a straight forward rock and roll album. The man is amazing.

Macca is his own man and if he feels like touring he just does it .He obviously liked the ballet idea and working with Stella.Gotta admire the guy for no fuss,just getting on with it.The few gigs he did just before Christmas must have given so much pleasure to his fans, including The 100 Club just on impulse. ><
