Out of all the music sites for differant bands,singers and musicians I use,this site gets the most people posting.Some sites I look at once or twice a week haven't had a single post since I last looked.At least this site gets people talking and exchanging information and views.That's what a forum is all about ,isn't it? We may not all agree,but at least we have something to say.

Good point Crawdaddy. I've noticed that other fan sites are not nearly as active as IORR. Maybe we're blessed?

the problem with some people in this forum is that they tend to take things personally.

If someone doesn't like Indian Girl (even people calling it garbage) or if someone starts an OT on how great he thinks Iggy Pop is or how stupid Macca music is , is just fine with me. Everyone has a right to their opinion, and I have the right to agree, disagree or whatever, but I don't have the right to offend or attack personally somebody that thinks differently, basic commun courtesy and respect goes a long way.

The Stones are not elderly and that bringing back Mick Taylor or Bill Wyman means they'll look and sound like they did in 1972.

As I said before in another thread,IORR is one of the friendliest music sites.Some of them are downright full of abuse,threats and swearing.I don't stay there once I see that. Life is too short,and as for posters spending too long on a computer,I personally spend a max. of 1-2 hours a day on one when I have access,which isn't excessive.Some youngsters I know of spend ALL their spare time on it. That's the time to say, 'Get a life'.

Not at all, since his book was released he's been bashed here by most posters.

And he hasn't been a "fantastic guitarist" for a little while now.

IMO - The last time I saw the band live was in late 2006. Mick was fantastic. I don't know what people are talking about when they say his voice is annoying now, or nasal, or whatever they're trying to say. He's grown into his voice, and he's kept himself active and don't you think if he wanted to unload on Keith, and release all the bile he's stored up from dealing with 'Keef', that Keith would be devastated? Mick could easily diminish Keith in the public's eyes.

I thought the band sounded great last time I heard them. Maybe they've lost a step, and they could use some new high quality accompaniment, but I'd love to see them one more time.

Most here think Im right, that I have a point, which is nice, but please feel free to give yourself applauds too.

And dont please report this, it was meant as a joke.

From Joan's early days (1975) with The Runaways (when she was 16 ) to her concert last week (2011) with the Blackhearts, Joan Jett is far from a one hit wonder, not to mention that she has a lot of great songs including "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", "Crimson and Clover", "I Hate Myself for Loving You", "Do You Want to Touch Me", "Light of Day", "Bad Reputation", etc etc etc.
