The best policy would be;
IF people dont start sh!t, THEN there wont be sh!t

Policy #2 should be: Don't take the bait (I know, I'm guilty myself...)

Hey, regarding "mental issues" blasts, etc., not sure where an Admin is for this board, but check this out from IORR Forum Policy:

"offending or personal posts are not accepted."

Correct paulm. Bjornulf (BV) is the administrator. But he cannot read every message on this board. Therefore there is a "Report This Message" button under every message. People can use this button when they want Bjornulf to take action.

My policy is to never report. I've never done it. I would only report if somebody outed another poster, and I'd want to report if somebody published threats or maybe obvious political propaganda (boycotts, conspiracy theories etc). Actually I would only report if somebody outed a poster. That is the lowest.

I'm not sure what you mean by "outed" a poster (being gay is nothing to be ashamed of), but I've reported the very occasional abusive post on here, & probably even contributed to one or two people being banned.

Not outed like that (and there's nothing wrong in being gay) I mean if you publish somebodys real name or something. I prefer debate to reporting but that's me. IMO abusive posts are easy to ignore.

Oh OK, I understand now. That wouldn't bother me too much personally as I link to my blog (where my real name can be seen). So it's no big secret who I am.

OK with me. Just wanted to explain the possibility to paulm. Didn't know if he knew.

ok, so why have a forum policy that states "offending or personal posts are not accepted" if no one really cares about it, unless someone is being "outed" for being gay?

Huh? confused smiley

Is it your meaning then that anyone who has been on this board less than 2 years is a troll? If so please be assured I am no troll but a fan like most here. I have read this board for many years but only just joined.

I haven't read anywhere here in this thread where someone said they hate the band or Keith. Rather, what I read are observations made on Keith's ability to play guitar. These observations are for the most part very real concerns, based on critical observations. I'm not sure how anyone reads hate into that.

Right on Stones62!

Let's not forget that it was Mick that outed Ronnie. Keith, of course, is completely straight.
