If The Stones were deciding on making the most of all the worldwide media attention they'll be getting at their 50th next year.What would be some good ideas the obvious one would be to announce a tour..but what others?
- Mick or Charlie release an autobiography
- A Rolling Stones history exhibition 1962-2012..to be shown around the world

First a great new studio album, then some retrospective CDs to include unreleased songs, and of course a tour. All within 2012, starting in January with the retro CDs.

They won't make a buzz in 2012 unless they start working right now!
They need to deliver a one great album and one more tour that sets them off as the greatest rock band ever.

Worlwide media attention? If they don't tour or release anything they'll get a brief segment on the news at most, though I doubt it. Outside of fans nobody gives two craps about the 50th anniversary.
