This is good news. I hope they edit Hyde Park better than the original. BTW, how much material was filmed that didn;t make it on the DVD? For example, does Midnight Rambler etc..exist?

Midnight Rambler is on the original (well part of it anyway), but I'd be very surprised if more exists from this concert apart from the 2 DVD bonus tracks from a few years back (& two of those are incomplete):

There's probably enough footage for every tour from 1981-82 onwards to make 4 DVD box-sets similar to 'Four Flicks' & 'The Biggest Bang', though I somehow doubt if it'll ever happen...

Both blue-rays from japan are region free (and playable worldwide)... Great

Ive got the LSTNT blu ray. Picture is great as is sound, Not sure if still sped up though as Havent watched it all. NO EXTRAS which irritated me. Was so hoping for at least WHIP

Who need a blu Ray of the Hyde Park Concert? I think that the quality of the recording, both sound and picture, is so bad that there is no advantages in having it on blu Ray?

I agree. Even the DVD isn't much of an upgrade on the VHS tape.

Does the blu ray have these 3 extra tracks?

indeed picture is excellent.
disappointed too cos no extra, the same songs with the same cuts.
I'm sure you have noticed that the format picture is the DVD format which has been increased to be widescreen. At the back cover it's written 16:9 but it's not ! in fact there is a picture loss compared to the DVD (4:3).

Any plans for US releases? There's just no way I'm gonna fork out over $100 for the two of them just to have the Blu-ray versions.
