Hi Silver Dagger: No, It's only speculations so far. One organisasion has said it was them on the internet - but it's always many of them, another one is that it could have something to do with the Mohammed-drawings - So, so far nobody knows.

How strange that these two seemingly unrelated events happened in the same country on the same day.

My thoughts, love & best wishes to the people of Norway (though please don't expect me to pray as it's not part of my beliefs).

10 confirmed killed from Utøya - but it will raise. (and 7 from Oslo + 9-10 badly damaged.) More explosives found at Utøya. A 32 years old norwegian man is arrested.At Utøya it was young people, from 13 years old. Many horrible stories. Many of them tried to swim from the island.One guy told that when he tried to swim from the island, a man stood on the beach and shot after him and he said that the bulitt was strait near his head.A parent had one daugther shot and she was at the hospital beeing at an operation and his other daughter was still missing. Bodies flothing in the water. People on the main land tried to pick up the young people with small boats, but when it was 10 people in the little boat she must say no to no. 11 and 12.It's confirmed that Oslo and Utøya had a connection.

My flat in Oslo lies just about 50-70 metres from where the car bomb exploded.
I'm glad I spend my summertime in Kristiansand.

Well it was a Norwegian who is in custody for both incidents Chris. Not an Arab or muslim.

Yes,the american media is descibing this as Norway's Oklahoma City as opposed to a 9/11 type of event. Tragic either way and my best wishes to the people of Norway.
