Both, I think. When you are born you have officially entered into your first year of life. So if that is correct then the same should be true for Birthdays. The Stones 49th anniversary (some call it Birthday) is July 12 so on July 12 they officially enter their 50th year. Since I am on the west coast of the United States that won't be for another 10 hours, however, the Stones were born in London so it is actually just just two hours away until they officially enter their 50th year, however, if you want to be really precise maybe it should be later in the day when they actually performed their first gig as the Stones probably did in the evening hours of July 12, London time of course.

Who would have thought back in 1986 that "Dirty Work" was only the half way point (thus far) or that even in 2011 the Stones would still arguably be the biggest touring act in world?
