Well, technically, for this '50 years' to the date thing, July 11, 2012 will be 50 years since a year is 365 days, not 366 (July 12, 2011 to July 12, 2012 is 366 days, etc). So July 11, 1963 was one year for the Stones, 4-12-63 started their second year...
So Colonial will just have to start another dorky thread but make it technically correct - 4-11-2012.
Or he'll start another litter collector about how many seconds, minutes, hours and days they've been past their so called 50th year etc.
"12.1.2011 today" in January? That's December 1st and we've still got quite a ways to go until December 1st.

They are soooo doing a 50th anniversary tour! I guarantee it... it was decided at the Rolling Stones summit at Christmas and that is why they are waiting. After this was decided Ronnie got straight on the phone to the Faces' manager and told him to book a summer 2011 Faces tour.
