How can amazon blatantly get away with selling bootlegs? Maybe things have got lax?

Last week I brought another Steel Wheels DVD that was just released here in New Zealand the sound and picture is'nt that good.. but it's OK.But what a great concert..

I doubt the album was recorded at anything above 44.1 kHz.

Wonder how HD Tracks.com have the early albums at 24 bit 176 kHz, and this album sampled so poorly? Hope not.

Looking at that link it seems they are also selling a dvd of the show from Saitama,Japan from the last tour. Always looked a good one from the clips I've seen

You used to see bootleg Stones DVDS on Amazon.US, but I think it's more to do with the volume of items they sell. Eventually Amazon got to them and DVDs like 'L.A. Blues' are listed as currently unavailable.

Yes. There is Saitama DVD. Guess it is a copy of the one you can torrent or download from Urbansteel's page here for free. If memory serves me well, it appeared for the first time at rocksoff tracker (RIP) a few weeks after the concert in 2006.

if it were legit there would have been much more of a buzz about it on iorr for sure

It's not sampled poorly. What you hear is what you get. There's nothing wrong with it.

Looks like it has been postponed

It's a 'grey market' release. Old telecasts and VHS releases suddenly available with dubious legallity. The ARMs show was the same and got a DVD and CD release.
