I just love shirts with something on the back, most cases I have to have it that way. Makes the shirt more interesting. By the way thanks for answering my post. I just bought a Supertramp one that believe it or not was better than any ABB ones. Mick should hire me, I got some neat ideas for shirts for next tour.

I would prefer some nice polo shirts with a small original tongue around the left nipple area. I would buy these all day long. Look at the average age of the Audience I think something like this would sell a lot better than the loud overpriced cheap quality shit that they do have.

I also cannot wear anything that has any type of print or picture on the back. YUK

I'll go with something like that too. A tennis shirt a la Lacoste with a small and discrete logotype on the chest or collar. Something you could wear outside the venue without getting ridiculed for. But what the heck: When is the next Stones concert taking place? We're a bit late having this discussion!

They are far to expensive for what you get. Some of the designs are good. I would like just more focus on the classic tongue design with no writing

The Voodoo Lounge were the best designs and quality material they ever done, then Licks has good contracts with Dragonfly shirts...

In Abb the designer they choose was any elementary school boy with some ideas about the shirt design.... but well, one or other are good, as Bjornulf says Argentina jersey was beauty, in fact i think the crew shirts was better than they sold in concerts jajaja

one good from ABB (On Stage), for the phrase is that:

Poor quality, true for most concert shirts.

90% ugly, poor quality

They look OK, but they do not last a long time. They really are cheap.

What do you think of the merchandise sold at Stones concerts over the years? Would you say the tshirts designs are getting better or worse? Is it worth
all that money they charge? For me I thought Voodoo Lounge tour had some great ones and the most.....17 and counting.

I still have my T-Shirts from 1972 Fort Worth, TX. and 1975 Baton Rouge, LA.

have over 200 t shirts and often the bootleg tees are better designs than those sold at the actual concert. most never see the light of day just hang in the wardrobe. not sure who does some of the designs but they can be fairly poor at times. i guess everybody has different tastes though. keiths japan relief shirt is a nice design of keith with guitar

First one I bought was at Eart's Court 76 but it's way too small now. But I did manage to get an authentic Tour of the Americas beige coloured t-shirt with the aircraft/eagle design while visiting Bill Graham's shop in San Francisco in 79.

Also still got the Wembley 82 shirt. All the shirts these days are more or less the same kind of design. Huge tongues with different colours depending on what country you buy them in.

I love the dark blue T-shirt I bought on opening night Voodoo Lounge tour kick off at RFK Stadium, Washington DC, in '94 with Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie pictured on the front with Voodoo Lounge tour dates on the back. The other shirt I love the design of (although I HATE white concert T-shirts) is the shirt I bought at the Joint, Las Vegas, club show on the Licks tour with the slot machine with Stones tongues on the slot reels. The ABB event specific shirts were cool too, I have an Orange one in University of Virginia colors when the Stones played Scott stadium and a blue one in Duke colors when the Stones played Wallace Wade Stadium, in North Carolina, two nights later. Also, the Beacon Halloween shirt I got at the Beacon 2 show in NYC is pretty cool.

The 1982 Uk baseball style ones were very nice, kinda a dragon/tongue on the front against a white background with black three quarter sleeves...wore it for ages then let a girlfriend have it as her night wear....hmm, I remember some good nights with that!

If the pictures are on your computer you can use a variety of free websites to upload your picture... I use [tinypic.com] but there are others too.

Go to the site, click BROWSE... and it looks on your computer and you upload, then it gives you a URL to use. the site I linked gives you several URLs... I always copy and paste the bottom one, then open a window and test it.... when it works, I copy/paste it between the [ img ] [ / img] but dont have spaces in there..... or if that did not make sense read bv's instructions from the above link.

got a baseball style one in '81.
bought a couple in '89...and one with the voodoo cover in '94. even bought an unofficial one.
i think there was a blue one with a gold tongue i wish i'd bought at B2B
and one from No Security. Ready to buy in 2005-6 but nothing appealed to me.

i'd also like something more basic. some of really artistic ones look ok on
their own but not on any human body..skinny or fat. I didn't really like
the 2 ABB tongues either.

my opinion..lots of room for improvement. would love to spend money
on stones t-shirts. A beefy white t-shirt with the basic logo and nothing else would be fine.
i'd buy 10. (not a super huge tongue logo like '89...but more like Mick's in the
Respectable video)

IORR............but I like it!
