Sad news, star of the Avengers (and much more) Patrick has passed away, aged 93.

His memoirs are a fantastic funny read!
One of his regrets was to never being able to shag Honor Blackman when he shot the Avengers with her around 1964 (she was faithful to her husband).

RIP Patrick. Spinal Tap fans know him as Sir Denis Eton Hogg, head of Polymer Records. At the opening party for the tour, he wished the band great success "Tap into America"!!

Never mind all that Captain America hooey (fun though it is) - anyone who was around in the 60s knows who the real Avengers are. Thank you Mr Macnee for bringing John Steed to life.
