Other than the question you ask here? What is asinine is a relative. You might well ask could some of the posts made here be more asinine. Some of your recent comments have not only been asinine but steeped in such blinkered ignorance as to boggle the mind, so what we have here is a case of the kettle calling the put black.

Well, I didn't put the title on the video, and it wasn't a political statement on my part.

Someone asked for the definition of "asinine." Jackass/asinine, get it ?

My goodness! A personal attack from someone of whom I am not aware whatsover regarding statements I am alleged to have made about what I don't know. Perhaps he's among those who have been posing such burning queries as:

1.Has Anyone Contacted A Psychic Regarding The Future Of The Rolling Stones?

2.How Did You Decide On Your Name For This Forum?

3.What would you do if Mick laid his towel next to you on the beach....

4. Are Rolling Stones Latin America's Most Popular Rock 'N' Roll Band?

6.Slightly OT: Gayest Music video of all time

7.if you could have a drink with any Stone son/daughter...

9. The most "sex and drugs and rock and roll" son/daughter

and of course

10.What Does ya' Rolling Stones Collection Say about ya'

Surely a question asking whether new questions could be more asinine than past questions is totally asinine in itself. And to answer the question - yes. Unless R could enlighten the board by actually posting something more asinine than his or her asinine question. eye popping smiley

Not "new" questions but rather that of the "asinine" variety. I've provided nearly a dozen examples thereof.

To the OP, just take it easy. If you don't like the thread's topic, don't click it. Real easy.

How is that post a question? Hardly the 'pentultimate example' of an asinine question.

True that. To avoid predictable hair-splitting maybe I should have started a thread about asinine threads per se but it seems the silliest ones always begin with asinine questions. Amy (your fifteen minutes is LONG past) Winehouse falling down anywhere is hardly news and for the life of me I have no idea what it has to do with the Rolling Stones. Likewise:

12. Stevie Nicks birthday show at Wiltern last night

You clearly misunderstood my post...to make it clearer I was asking you to post something that isn't asinine - to enlighten us with your relevent, searching questions...so far you haven't posted one.

Post 12 non asinine questions and everything will be even. Then you won't lose sleep at night worrying about stupid threads on an internet message board.

R, would you answer this, even though you think it is asinine?

"2.How Did You Decide On Your Name For This Forum?"

Oh, wait, it is your first initial, or if not, the initial of your last name?
Ah, maybe I can see in your case, how the question might not seem
too deep. cool smiley I have enjoyed many of the stories of people who told them.

It's funny that you asked that question, and I can see your point of view. You're probably more intellectual than the average Joe. But it takes all types to make the world go 'round and patience is a virtue, my friend. Just let it go and let people be who they are and ignore what you don't like and post on the ones you do. No big deal. What's that saying about don't sweat the small stuff, and that it's pretty much all small stuff? It's better for your blood pressure. Now, go read the encyclopedia brittanica or something such. lol

Yes, I believe we haven't even reached the half-way mark in inanity. Although I have high hopes that we'll be getting there soon. Don't give up hope.
