This is an interesting topic.
In my case, I guess people would wonder why I have so many Rolling Stones LPs (100+) from the years 1969 to 1974, but only a handful of RS LPs from the years before 1968 or beyond 1975.
And also perhaps why I have so many LPs ("big black CDs") in the first place.

A persons music collection can speak volumes about there personality.I've always found most people that have a good Rolling Stones or Beatles collection to be quite laid-back..yea'

That owning one CD per album is enough and I'm not a mass consumer sucking up anything with "Rolling Stones" on it.
My photos, however, show that my ex-brother-in-law is one HELL of a photographer (and lucky too, taking shots of them since 1981)

Mine shows the depth of my dedication, and it has been the one thing I have faithfully collected and cataloged for over 40 years. I still get enjoyment from it. I have no regrets about the $$ I've spent on it all. It has been a hobby, has taught me a lot about the history of the blues, British rock and I've met some very cool people through my love for this band. I just have one BIG regret! Back in the 80's, I came across a series of art galleries in Greenwich Village, NYC where I found several of the Andy Warhol silk screened Jagger portraits. They ranged in price from around $1500- $2400 and had I known the value would increase 25 times the original prices and more, I would have taken out a loan and bought a few!! I have photos of myself standing in front of the ones I loved best!! I still haven't gotten over letting that slip through my hands!
