I've been also told there will be a tour but there are MANY factors that come into play that will influence that tour. Now with Ronnie acting up again,it's all purely speculation. I think to say that we'll see a tour for sure is being very optimistic.

Ronnie's 'acting up' ? News to me. He's dating a woman young enough to be his grandaughter, putting out great albums, putting on shit-kicking performances at the Ambassadors Theatre in London and at the 100 Club, if this is 'acting up' I'll take more of it.

O, unless you believe the tabloids of course .... in which case - yes of course, the bad lad is acting up !

I think there will be a tour too and it will be interesting to come back to these threads and see just who thought there would be a next tour and which people didn't think there would be one. It will be here in black and white for all to see.

I hardly think I'm the only one who thinks that Ronnie's sobriety hangs by a thread, and it's a day to day thing. I guess you haven't read LIFE or you'd know that even in 1981, Ronnie was a big question mark as far as his ability to tour was concerned...to the point where Keith had to go to bat for him, promising to keep Ronnie in line to satisfy the insurance folks who were ready to pull the plug on that tour. If you think that I'm HOPING That they won't tour, think again!! I've been saving for the last 4 years!! I just won't believe it until I see Mick and Keith and Charlie and rOnnie at a press conference announcing the tour schedule!

Pretty sure that BV's "yes" was in reference to the first post asking about a tour. And yes, the original Sticky is to avoid hot button arguments and it shouldn't take a genius to understand that doesn't mean we can't talk about political opinions expressed in Stones lyrics. The guy's just trying to keep his site from turning into a battleground much like the request we not post official releases so that the nice lawyers for Klein or the Stones don't shut the site down. Not really so unreasonable when you think about it.

I'm not commenting on your HOPES one way or the other. In fact, I suscribe to your point of view actually, namely that I too won't believe anything for sure until the inevitable press conference takes place.
