Segues you might have liked?

I love the Yesterday's Papers/Get Off My Cloud from '67 - also liked If You Can't Rock Me/GOMC - got me thinking about what else might have made a good segue over the years - not that I'm too crazy about the concept - but if I could hear one - Fingerprint File/Hot Stuff seemed like it might be nice.

any others?

Under My Thumb/I'm Free was nice in 1969.

It worked fine in the rare ocassions they tried, but on recent tours such a concept would have only intensified the "Vegas" feel, in my opinion!

For years I've been telling djs to play the studio Midnight Rambler followed by Break the Spell.

and how's that been working out for you?

i'm imagining something like (as the jock covers the receiver with his hand, and yells to jock in the next booth): "hey...it's that stones lunatic again who thinks that we'd really play some obscure stones tune from some forgotten 80's album...."
