I had to throw in this classic from "Back To School" with Rodney Dangerfield and Sam Kinison giving us a history lesson:

Favorite is OBVIOUSLY Phoebe Cates by the pool.

The line "peperoni and cheese, over her dude" A pizza delivery in the classroom. That was great, but not as earth shattering as Phoebe Cates. "She Was Hot" would be a good description of her.

You should have waited another second before capturing a screen shot.

HA HA HA ..... Thanks .....That clip made me chuckle several times,
Sean Penn's best role ever (I dont say say that just to piss him off, even though he has been running from that role since that movie came out) but I actually think it is....

MR HAND, THIS IS OUR TIME

What's weird about this movie is that when you watch the version released on VHS/ DVD, there's scenes like the one above that aren't in it. When you see it on tv, it's usually the version that has the scene above as well as several other scenes that aren't in the regular vhs/dvd version. I remember seeing a website many years ago that had a breakdown of the different scenes. If I recall correctly, there's actually 3 different versions of the movie, including 2 that are shown on tv that have different scenes in them. Not sure why there's not just one directors cut version that has all of them in it. Probably only be an extra 5 minutes worth total.

GREAT POINTS.
I have said for years how this is the epitome example of movies that must be seen in one of its uncut versions. I have "tried" (and failed) to watch it on regular TV in the states, and it was like watching a completley different movie. The butchering cuts remove all the the things that made it a great movie. It is like watching a hard core porn movie, where all the sex is cut out, and all that remians is talking between nonactors.( I have heard about this anyway, I am not admitting that I have ever watched any porn, ultraedited cut, or other wise ; ).

When they cut out parts like...... all guys falling out of the smoke fill van, or Spicolli hitting himself in the head with his shoe, or Spicolli calling Mr Hand YOU DICK...... or the ummmmmm Phoebe part, or the late night parts or the ...etc etc etc.. imuho this movie is unwatchable when the best parts are cut..

PS
I have always been somewhat stunned at the huge number of VERY young actors (first movie part?) in this movie, who went onto be be huge stars. It has a great sound track too.
