Stones Doing Blues Covers

Can we get a good group of videos together of the Stones playing some blues covers live?

With or without guests; it's all good!

I'll start with a few of my favourites:

Though they would never do it, I would love to hear the Stones to a whole concert of nothing but covers of the blues and rock n roll that inspired them...or even take a Phish approach and have a whole set be just covers of songs they admire.

More interesting than warhorses, though casual fans would hate it.

Perhaps a little too obvious:

I also thought Going Down from O2-1, with Jeff Beck's guest spot, worked pretty well:

I'm still having an ear-ache after his screeching, but it was great fun smiling smiley

The volume the sound guy gave him was unfathomably high!

Simply wonderful thumbs up

Were you at that one? It sounds deafening enough in the video, I can barely imagine what it must have been like live. It's astonishing that Keith and Ronnie could hear their own playing at all.

Wonderful, and one of the most important things the Stones have ever done - the first and only blues standard to reach #1 in the UK charts.

Yep, I was there. The playing he did before the song started was beyond loud smiling smiley

I like Keith's solo in there as well. A no BS-approach, taking it back home. Yeah, it was great fun.

This one's for Revvy, whatever moniker he's using these days - for the brilliant "Two Trains-theory" he launched some years ago smiling smiley

Awesome - if you ask me that's the best "Keith-Tone" for decades. Does anyone know what guitar he was playing there (Les Paul Jr.?)?

That's from Paradiso 2nd night...best "Keith-Tone" for decades in the best concert for decades. There wasn't anything better after that.
I didn't watch the guitars; sorry!

A nice outtake/version from the Voodoo Lounge sessions:

This is the best version and video of Little Red Rooster ever IMO. Amazing stuff.

One of my favorites. From Brixton '95.

And how about this guy? A young fan practising with his new gear thumbs up
