I cannot fathom anything Paul Simon could do to justify him being arrested. Than again, I'm only basing my stance on his public image.

Not sure about him being the "nicest guy"...ever seen "Annie Hall" or more to the point he asked for a guy's phone at a concert in Mountain View in 2001 and kinda tossed it away when he was done with it!

Even though Paul Simon's feet don't reach the ground, I believe he is in the
same weight category as Floyd Mayweather.

It was reported that one of them had marks from what could have been an altercation. My guess it was on him, he's shorter and older. Anyone who knows boxing knows a arm reach and better reflexes give you they edge.

Hard to know how serious it is, but sad to read that they're having those kind of problems. I've always thought they were a good match, despite the age difference.

Apparently it wasn't as bad as it seems.
They were hand in hand when they walked to the court... might be acting of course, but i don't think he needs that.

An argument that got out of hand. Can happen.

Btw... For those who consider Graceland as his last great album should really check out The Rhythm of the Saints... Even Surprise and So Beautiful or So what are good albums.

If he tossed a fan's phone away at a gig, that seems like pretty good evidence he's a stand up guy. Backlighting is the worst invention of the 20th century (atomic weaponry might be #2).

Paul is a real good guy, very passionate. I overheard some arguments during the production of "Graceland", he and Roy Haley fought like cats but he's not a violent man or a crazy one either. Very regular, Art too. One day I was cleaning his studio Paul was early and he quipped, "I love to shave, it makes me feel refreshed, my favorite part of the day." I was like "ok then". Someone mentioned Lou Reed.. Lou was a sweetheart and a gentleman always, he loved electric razors and shaving as well. Lou boasted a giant collection of shavers, he'd always buy them in pairs, just in case he liked it and they stopped making that model..
