Were There Any 2002-03 Theater Shows Bootlegged on Video?

Of course there is the official release of the Paris Olympia show on Four Flicks, which might not even be complete (?) but nothing that I know of was bootlegged on video.

Anyone?

I believe you're right. The Aragon show was used briefly in the 60 Minutes interview that year. And then of course there are other selections off Four Flicks like the Wiltern and Circus Krone that were used.

Would love to see bootleg material of any of the theater shows. Security may have been tight where no one could've brought a camera in?

Wiltern (I am waiting for an audio boot of this show to arrive any day) and Circus Krone (Munich?)were on the documentary disk of Four Flicks?

Be sure they have been filmed, at least with 1 cam each, for the band, but the security was too tough for anyone to manage doing a fan-filmed version.

3 songs from Vredenburg were filmed by the same dutch companys as the Ahoy (3 songs also) but these pictures never surfaced either...

so it was filmed! Set list almost exactly the same as the Olympia.

Anyone know where I can get this? If you like, send me an e mail at tim_bernardis@hotmail.com

Oh yeah I forgot about that one.
Is it good ? If it is the one I remember now, there are many heads interfering and camera divings in order to hide from the security.

It was a pro-shot, but it wasn't ever officially released, so this is a bootleg :

I'd love to have a copy of 29 August, 2003 Wembley Arena.

I stood right behind someone filming the Orpheum show on video -- but he wasn't a bootlegger, he was official. I don't know what became of any of that footage. Vredenburg had a more sophisticated setup but alas, none of that has surfaced either AFAIK.

Thanks !

These images come from the steady cam at the soundboard + 1 operated by the band
Vredenburg and Ahoy welcomed cinema teams with "big" cameras filming only 3 songs of each show.

In 2003 control was very tight, especially in the theatre shows. I remember passing at least two surveys at the Circus in Stockholm, only one at the Astoria in London. At least there are wonderful bootlegs out there covering the music.

I really prefer Jagger with his t-shirt and jeans (I mean without this "stage clothes" of his)

Yes, I too remember 'official' filming at the Orpheum. Couldn't believe that not even ONE song made Four Flicks or the extras: Rock Me Baby w/ Buddy Guy, Parachute, Brand New Car, Dance pt1, Heart of Stone, Hand of Fate, etc. ...arggh! I really thought something would show up especially because it was the first theater show of the tour. Maybe the Stones' kids will get around to releasing it before we're 80.

I am watching the extras on the documentary disk and whilst these songs are on there, there is no indication as to what shows each song came from. How do you know which songs are from which show?

They were listed on many other sites at the time and I remembered---but not on the box, correct.

Found the info here on IORR:

Thanks SFF. Absolutely love No Expectations and that was one of the better live versions I've heard.

another question: isn't there somewhere on 4 FLicks a scene from the Wiltern with the band playing with Solomon Burke and if so, what disk, etc. can that specific song be located?

Not at home to check right now but it's a bonus feature titled "Rev Solomon Burke' or something. It's about 3 minutes long...interviews spliced with some of the performance.

You haven't popped each DVD in to check the Special Features? You would've found it by now...
