The Beach Boys - Four family members but a whole lot more lawsuits
Aerosmith - Broke up over spilt milk (kinda sorta)
Pink Floyd - Roger Waters vs David Gilmore, et al
Van Halen - Eddie vs...
J. Geils Band - outside songwriters
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Peace,
Mr DJA

I quoted from this one before, and I still doubt the "mutual agreement".
The Doors' tour to promote their upcoming album L.A. Woman would comprise only two dates. The first was held in Dallas, Texas on December 11. During the Doors' last public performance with Morrison, at The Warehouse in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 12, 1970, Morrison apparently had a breakdown on stage. Midway through the set he slammed the microphone numerous times into the stage floor until the platform beneath was destroyed, then sat down and refused to perform for the remainder of the show. Drummer John Densmore recalls the incident in his biography Riders On the Storm, where after the show he met with Ray and Robbie; they decided to end their live act, citing their mutual agreement that Morrison was ready to retire from performing.

To my knowledge Oliver Stone's film has some inaccuracies.
While, I'm not certain of the last live performance (the mutual agreement) there was talk during the making of L.A.Woman they weren't exactly on speaking terms.

It's well known Mick n Keith have had their share of rifts but haven't we seen this with others in the past.
The Temptations - David Ruffin thought HE was the Temptations
The Supremes - Dianna Ross left for a solo career
The Beatles - all of them got fed up with it, though I wonder if Brian Epstein had lived would things have turned out differently
The Who - Rodger and Pete have had their disagreements
Those are the ones that come to mind, any others you guys care to share?
