THE WORST EVER!!! Somebody actually did a cover of that recently, if you can believe it. Mind I think it was somebody from BigBrother UK.

I like Insane Clown Posse, though. Especially 'Suicide Hotline'.

Jeez, this song really is bad, I'd forgotten how bad. Even as a kid, I remember thinking, is this a real song?
What makes it a viable candidate for worse is that its supposed to be serious and deep.

The best part starts at around 2:13....

The stillborn versions of warhorses like JJ Flash, Satisfaction, Honky Tonk Women and their likes on any Stones-tour since 1989. In fact I rather listen to "I'm a barbie girl" than those bores!

Objection, your Honour! Please, duke, you can't do away with him just like that.

Cat Stevens is a great musician, multi-instrumentalist, educator and philanthropist.

He's generally recognised as one of the greatest - and also, commercially most successful, by number of hit singles and albums sold - singer-songwriters of all time.

I've always loved his music - admittedly a bit restrained during his great period in the early 70s, when I found him a bit too docile for my taste and age, say not wild enough - and I will always love his music and keep a high regard for him.

Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world

What about the soundtrack to Harold and Maude? Brilliant![/quote]

Exactly, how could I forget? d.f

That stupid bloody eminem song-my nephew plays it all the time and it drives me CRAZY.
The lyrics revolve around his daughter following him to sweden, (unlikely!), and standing in the front row at one of his concerts because he forgot to rock-a-bye baby her goodninght-or something!
It's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard-and that's saying something these days.
I defy ANYONE to listen to this and not be repulsed.
AAARGGHHH-I'm angry now just thinking about it!sad smiley

I never knew that. Still not one of the Beatles better numbers. But now I have to go back and listen to it to hear Brian play sax.

Of course, as Tod always reminds me,this is all only a matter of opinion, but no...Cat Stevens is definitely on my most hated list and I dispute that he is generally recognized as one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time. Glad you enjoy it though, deadflowers. I like lots of stuff other people hate...
