RIP Sir David Frost OBE (1939-2013)

English journalist, comedian, writer, media personality and daytime TV game show host Sir David Frost has passed away, aged 74.

He is well know with Stones fans as they appeared on his show back in 1968 & 1969.


RIP David.

A legend of television. The Frost Show was requisite viewing if you grew up in England in the 60s. RIP Sir David.

Sincerest condolences to his family, I had the greatest respect for the man. A giant.

Yes, learn plenty watching that movie! Over here in the US, remember the plethora of guests he tackled on his shows. Sir David Frost had an array. Sudden death shocked us all, life is short. RIP! eye popping smiley

‘Train-spotting’ means, quite literally, someone who spots trains for a hobby. They would stand at the train platform, ticking-off the trains as they went by. It’s perceived to be rather geeky, obsessive, and to the non-spotter, slightly weird. Today, the term is used more loosely to describe anyone or any act that seems to be a little geeky, and obsessive over any particular subject or hobby.

I remember "Frost over England" back in ´66: "The Rolling Stones composers Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are going to buried at Westminster Abbey - alive."
