What about a 45 min version of TELL ME...????
I can imagine this happen on Stockholms Olympia Stadium with a 50 piece band incl. both Bill and Mick T, lots of guests like Niels Lofgren and other guitarheroes and dancin ensemble from Brazil...what a party...

They should not announce a farewellshow, it would be too sentimental.

Yep, but it's gonna happen, and could already have happened coming to the worse point...the last song, which will it be?

@#$%& Blues would be nice but no doubt it will be something cheesy like The Last Time (the song isn't cheesy but playing it just because it would be the last time is, if you know what I mean)

Was that Brown Sugar up there the last song they played together onstage?

Man this clip has quite a depressing feel to it all. Keith especially seems really down, lonely and even unable to play for the camera.

You have quite a vivid imagination Come On. Assuming the Stones have not already played their last gig then 'Out of Time' would be a fitting choice in my view...

A perfect opener - they appear on a small stage in the middle of the stadium and play:

Hmm interesting question the last number for the last show (assuming they haven't played their final show already) I'd wager nothing sentimental, I guess Mick & Company are gonna send you out of the house rocking with an extended "kick you in the teeth" version of Brown Sugar.

I doubt they would deviate from the setlist for the FINAL number of the FINAL show.

My heart says that they should play Street Fighting Man as their last song ever. Yes, it would be a 'classic' ending. It captures what the Stones have meant to so many millions of people through the years.

Should definitely be a classic . I liked a couple of suggestions I've seen posted although I'm sure they were tongue in cheek . You posters know who you are !!

My suggestion I'm Free

I'm sorry but this sounds like a cover band . . . I know that they had many great moments from that tour and that stretch of shows but, oh my . . .

I guess you had to be there then. It was a rocking version that night.

His wife was suffering of cancer at that time. No strange being down.

what is the first song they played at their first gig as "the rolling stones"? whatever that is, they should end with that.

Indeed! Still quite startling to see him so down.
