Does anyone care what "Iggy Stooge" thinks? The pic of him flipping off is totally posed. Is that supposed to be edgy?

Well, since you asked, I care. And I don't think anything at this late date is "supposed to be edgy".

I plugged the "boxed" text in an online translator, and the clumsy translation below resulted:

Q. In fact, have you read the book of Keith Richards? Can we expect that you about your life one of these four?

IGGY: Yes, I have read, but this type of exercise is not for me, sorry.

Q. We can imagine that you bore never during the tours with the Stooges. Apart from France, what country consider you as a good territory?

IGGY: Let us say Serbia, and this is not a joke. And also New York. Good, it is a city, but I imagine that account, no?

Iggy's DA MAN! ALways a madman in concert.

One of my favorite quotes from him is "you can't kill me, I'm iggy @#$%& Pop!"

Iggy, Lemmy & Keef will outlive us all.

Neither sophisticated,nor subtle.
Not even hot imo.
I like very much Iggy & the Stooges but as a frontman ,he doesn't hold a candle to Jagger -ankle lenght in French -

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

Jagger's the King, no doubt about that.

Well, I knew I'd get flak for my rather ignorant-sounding, flippant statements. I've never been a big fan of his but I respect the fact that many on this board are.

Yeah, he played guitar occasionally on a couple tours in the 90's and was playing left.

Yeah, I forgot about that.

He was trying to be more "mainstream." Thank goodness that didn't work out. grinning smiley

I've seen both Jagger and Iggy a bunch of times, and I'm big fans of both of them.

But I'm not willing to go on record as stating that no one is a better frontman than Iggy F-cking Pop! There might be some that are/were his equal, but no one tops Iggy Pop.

Yes, Rollins is a mere mortal, but he speaks truth here.

Iggy is the man. A unique and captivating performer. I remember meeting him in Ann Arbor during the Zombie Birdhouse tour...I was in awe! I asked him to sign my album.... "what's your name dude?" ..."Ahh Matthew Mr. Pop"..."cool, like door mat, can I wipe my shoes on your back?"...."ah yeah, sure anything you want Iggy..."

Iggy Pop drummer Alex Kirst killed aged 47:

Alex Hirst was previously the drummer for The Nymphs, with whom Iggy sang on Supersonic:

I tossled once with Iggy; it was actually during a gig of his, and he was pumped up but that man was one major coiled muscle. LOL
I very much like what he say in that clip about Keith, his hero. I like how he explains it, and also what he says about US and UK music. Not sure if I agree, but it's a good thought. Iggy is a great performer. Too bad he hasn't made an album as consistently tops as "The Idiot" or "Lust for Life" in the last years.

Shame, that such the treasure wasn't at all in use for years - according to Iggy himself

A couple of years ago, I printed this picture and stuck it in the middle of the mirror in the ladies toilet where I work.

The scream that was heard from the toilet a few minutes later was priceless!

This is true. That's what happens on smack. The man was definitely packing legendary heat which made him even more far out. Some people not quite sure about his shock value on here, but yeah - he's still got a bigger c*ck than you do.

Once MOJO have theme about sex and theres more explicite pictures with James Ostenberg.
I don't want to put this obcure pic here...sometimes bv have right about themes in this (his) board.
