When did they do the"rich man´s" birthday party?

First they did the PEPSI party in a tent in Hawaii Kona Island. With Maggie Thatcher in the tent crowd. Quite weired concept because the older Pepsi executives left the show before it was finished due to bed time. On the last tour they did the DEUTCHE BANK private party in Barcelona. Very secret but still great money for them to pay off some 7 million dollars touring money, nice way of getting a sponsor.

The buyout king - a founding partner of the Texas Pacific Group, a private equity firm - has booked dozens of rooms at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for this weekend and hired the Rolling Stones to entertain his guests. Bonderman is said to be spending $7 million on the weekend. Mick Jagger and his bandmates will join up with John Mellencamp on Saturday to play at the Hard Rock's concert venue, the Joint, after a private dinner hosted by funnyman Robin Williams. Bonderman is having a temporary staircase built in the Joint, so guests won't have to leave the hall - and mingle with uninvited casino patrons - to get from the main room to the VIP balcony. Reps for Jagger, Williams and Mellencamp had "heard nothing about this."

The firm has large stakes in many familiar names, including Del Monte fruits and vegetables, Punch Taverns, Ducati motorcycles, and J. Crew clothing. So it is time to save up, they do this one time per tour, the price for this show is going up every time, now closer to 10 million dollars, and if the schedule and your event and venue and everything else fit into what they like, they will do a show for you, and you only. PS. I did some calculations. I have a nice club here in Norway. It takes 1000 people. And they cost 10 mill usd. So that makes 10,000 dollar. I just need 999 friends to join in, and with some help I am sure we can get a special price of 5,000 so it's possible, absolutely! But is it worth it?[/quot
