TOO FUNNY!! Thanks Roll73, that gave me a belly laugh to start my day.. that part where Waddy is first doing his Keith (doing a Frankenstein) impression answering a question and then it all comes back around 30 years later, LOL!! as Waddy is just sayinbg fku Keef... I laughed out loud. Great Waddy/Keith story, as if he was sitting here telling me... that was awesome.

And I knew Waddy was on B2B, but I didnt know he was there for 3 months solid, no wonder I like that album so much, even in the face of so many haters of it. I am a big time Waddy fan, he is a musicians musician.

Thank you very much for posting... smileys with beer

Thanks for sharing this sincere interview between Waddy and Leland.
X Pensive Winos and Keith made some great vinyl for sure and the 1992 Concert
was Rocking with great guitar sounds and drums.

Would love to see him. Bit far for me to come from London though! That interview also made me quite sad - to hear what the two of them were saying about how the community of session guys and also artist development has been all but wiped out by digital technology and the culture of 'I want it NOW' that we seem to be living in. Solid couple of guys though.

I was actually searching for Xpensive winos interviews (ie with the whole band) when I stumbled upon this. There doesn't seem to be any which is a shame.

Yeah thank you! Love Waddy too, I think one of my favorite guitar parts ever is what he does on "Saint of Me", absolutely stunning rythm/lead guitar.

Waddy was great with Warren Zevon but not with X-pensive vinos. When he played with Keith he held back to much.

Waddy is badass, that intro alone on Saint of me still grabs me!
