I can't wait to get on that bus and away from here. Obviously my wish was way too optimistic.

I want one of these (maybe next year) (maybe for a lil cheaper and more heavy duty, with a light wieght camera on it) (and some glasses for a monitor) (and at least a 30 minute battery life) (and high altitude ability). I bet it would be fun to go flying around and see the world from Jonathan Livingston's point of view...

Have yourself a merry merry Christmas... Have yourself a good time.... But remember the kids who got nothin'...... While you're drinkin' down your wine...

If one is in a position to help out... Not much in this world feels as warm and Christmasy as giving anonymous (no strings attached or thanks needed) gifts directly to unfortunate kids and/or animals shelters who can really use them... cuz some got nothin... some have less than nuthin.

Dont post a message here about it... just donate some stuff to a local animal shelter by your house/aparment/cabin/shack/bridge.

Non profit animal shelters always need stuff... like cleaning supplies, bleach, cat/dog food, kitty litter, towels blankets etc etc.... maybe just stop in and ask them what they need right now and then go buy it and drop it back off and dont tell anyone, Santa will know... cuz YOU are Santa smiling smiley

thumbs upsmileys with beerspinning smiley sticking its tongue outthumbs up

Thanks Max. How did you know I was sad tonight? I am. A jet pack would cheer me up though.

Considering that they only did covers that year and for a while after, you might be waiting until 2015.smiling smiley

Not so, some oroginals were written and recorded in 1963.

Unfortunately, 2015 is the year in which the 70 year thang comes in to play, so no forced hot unreleased music from 1965 onwards for us. thumbs down

Here are my plans spoken from a previous sent e-mail:

My son in law and self went to the Lima Peru version of Walmart a couple of days ago and purchased multiple cases of chocolate crackers & milk. We're going to the suburbs of the needy early tonight and greet the kids with these gifts. This has been a tradition of my son in law's other family members for several years now. I'm looking forward to this event.

Afterwards, we're going to pick up some fireworks and Cusquena beer and celebrate as Peruanos do for Christmas.

Sorry to read you're still without it. We we lucky in getting our heating back yesterday morning. It was a frustrating 24-hours before that, though!

Apparently this board has strange and wonderful powers ... I just got the call. I'm back on the grid! So as long as there isn't News of Fresh Disaster, I may get some sleep tonight! 62 hours with no electricity - it got real cold folks!

Glad your misery was short lived, Al!

Short, but scary. The icy conditions meant I was bound to the apartment. I have a bad leg, so it was really frustrating!
