Somebody put picks on Ebay and claims they are from the Stones? How can one find out if is true? Silly!

I think they're real. Didn't like the $22 shipping charge though.

Links are always appreciated whenever anyone refers to something being "out there" someplace, (be it an article, shirt, tickets, gorilla pictures, tweets, picks, Micks, pix or videos etc etc) I always try to give a link when I say it.

Links are as easy and copy/paste, thanks is advance.

Redonkulous at $299.00? [www.ebay.com]

Just as Redonkulous at $102.00... [www.ebay.com]

The whole thrill of owning a pick like this is from their hands to yours at the concert, but to buy one ebay sems like the most redonkulous thing I have heard of this morning.

That pick has no playing marks on it, doubt it was used by Ronnie.

Now you know why the ticket prices were so high, Gorilla picks?

peace

He could have used it shortly. Some guitarist go crazy throwing out picks, which is cool. I've seen Mike McCready use 6-7 different picks in a song. He would play a verse, toss the pick, pull out another, and so on. If Ronnie only used a pick for a portion of a song, or even one entire song, it wouldn't necessarily be scratched up. I'm looking at a pick right now that I've been using for about 2 weeks and it's not scratched up. It's a Dunlop Gator Grip and it even still has the complete logo/design still on it. Some of my older ones have designs partially scratched off though.

So it could be Ronnie's, but I don't trust buying things like this on eBay. Picks especially, because there are plenty of fakes out there. I've never looked into Stones picks, but there is a pretty big Pearl Jam pick market (because as I mentioned, they toss out a lot) and there are a lot of fakes. You just have to take a leap of faith I guess. There's never a guarantee, as you can't really get Ronnie to hand you a CoA when he tosses a pick to you during a show.
