Too many guests?
Posted by: GravityBoy ()
Date: November 24, 2012 09:55

I just saw in The Times more pictures of more guests appearing at the O2.

So far it's Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman... ok with me.. not really guests... but Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Mary J Blige (who?), Florence Welch (who?)...

I bet their are others.

They don't need this crap.

Might as well get One Direction on as well.

Rolling Stones past and present only !

I hope the others are only for the PPV.

Well Ron mentioned Jeff Beck on TV last night, so he was probably rehearsing for the London shows...fine with me, Beck is the best guitar player ever IMHO and I haven't seen Live since 2001.

Too many non former stones guests= i'll only watch youtube of this tour featuring former stones as guests only. If i paid $800 for a ticket and freaking Rappers waddled out on stage for mick to awkwardly grind as they did piss poor renditions of warhorses, i would be SERIOUSLY disgusted.

Hear hear. Who the @#$%& wants to see any of those (apart from Bill/Mick) ?

That said, if they want to drag Angus & Malcolm up again then fair enough

I hope these guests are not all slated to appear on the same night - if so, it's too many unless perhaps they're going to do an extra long show, which seems unlikely. Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman are all that's needed, IMHO.

Mary J Blige and Jeff Beck confirmed by GRRRegory on twitter

WTF has she got to do with the Rolling STones?

Is this like the X-Factor sunday night guest spot?

They are bigger than this sh*t.

i understand why they invite Jeff beck,,,
because of the 1975 auditions amongst others, and his cooperation with jagger for obama.
He is a great guitar player

but Mary J Blige and this other girl===?????????????

Buddy guy and so many other musicians would be a better guest.

But why they need it...

Lack of confidence maybe?????

I feel a bit down i dont have tickets, but i am not waiting for these guest appearances.

have fun you all anyway

Mary Blige announced on GS apparently, no Lisa after all?

But yes, the fewer the guests apart from MT, BW and I guess JB, the better!
