"The Storm" being the best cut here apart from Dylan's classic should tell us about the quality level

So you've heard "One Last Shot" then?

HA they changed *both* titles; this explains why I had been confused about the new single, which I had previously been calling "Gloom And Doom":

"As previously reported, "GRRR!" has two new studio songs: "One More Shot" (formerly titled "One Last Shot") and "Doom and Gloom" (formerly titled "Gloom and Doom"). ABKCO/Universal Music will release in "GRRR!" in the U.S and Canada on November 13, 2012, and in other countries on November 12, 2012."

OK 'freak, I've figured out the one that's the cover. Gonna need a little assistance with the great and the fine songs.

Yeah, a lot better than Exile!

This makes no sense at all. How can a song that (presumably) you haven't even heard (One Last Shot) be on an album you are deeming classic? What makes those other songs "classic?" A couple good ones there no doubt, but classic??

The tunes on the Some Girls re-release come much closer, frankly, to being a "classic" album that "wasn't."

I doubt people will agree with me, but I would say Highwire is great and Don't Stop is fine. Nothing too special but I've always found it enjoyable.

OK, I'm not going to agree with you but thanks for the clarity...in other news, I see you did sneak a great song in there, being Plundered My Soul. If you're going to do that, then really you should be sneaking in No Spare Parts and Under The Radar. Now you're beginning to get the makings of a hot album!

The OP is on to something here. There is a decent, bluesey album that can be put together from the B-sides and odd tracks from the Steel Wheels era forward. Choices are:

1 Fancy Man Blues, 2 Cook Cook Blues, 3. I wish I Never Met You, 4. The Storm, 5. Jump On Top Of Me, 6. I'm Gonna Drive, 7. So Young (Piano version?), 8. Highwire, 9. Sexdrive, 10. Any Way You Look At It, 11. Don't Stop, 12. Keys To Your Love, 13. Stealing My Heart, 13. Loosing My Touch, 14. Under The Radar, 15. We Don't Want To Go Home, 16. Watching The River Flow, 17. Doom & Gloom, 18. One More Shot (maybe added after we actually hear it!)

Here is the challenge, comprise the best 10-12 song album out of these tracks (or any others I may have forgotten). Think about song selection and sequencing! Ready? Go!
