RIP.

Frank Drebin was a great character.

I'm always a little surprised when hearing that someone being cared for in a hospital setting dies from pneumonia. It just seems that in this day and age, it should be able to be treated, barring other complications.

Well he was 84. But yeah, that is a little surprising. Maybe more to it. But R.I.P. Leslie. Amazing how he totatlly turned his career around from dramatic to comedic actor.

RIP Shirley...
What a wonderful performer he was and to bring laughter to a sad world has to be one of the most joyful professions to have had. And he was great at it!

Darn, that's really too bad. Love his style of humor. Wasn't he the one that said "ever see a grown man naked Jimmy" in a movie? Just something you would never expect someone to say. Very funny facial expressions too. He will definately be missed. R.I.P.

Leslie Nielsen's life had one of the greatest second acts in movie history.
I know he enjoyed it at least as much as we did.

Fantastic in Forbidden Planet, fantastic in the Airplane/Police Squad/Naked Gun. Thanks for the thrills and the laughs.

I guess the Posidon needs a new captain.

That was Peter Graves who starred with Nielsen in Airplane!

A sad loss - one of the comedic greats. His dad was a Mountie and his older brother Eric was Deputy Prime Minister of Canada in the '80s.

Nice beaver.

Thanks - I just had it stuffed.

He delivered some of the funniest lines ever:

"THis woman has to be gotten to a hospital" "A hospital? What is it?" "It's a big building with lots of patients, but that's not important now."

"Oh, by the way . . . . I faked every orgasm."

. . . . and many more.

R.I.P Leslie. You'll be missed.
