As far as the visual aspect of a stage, I'm with the Bridges stage.

As far as the music, easily 1969 - 1973 stages.

The Super Bowl stage was tops above all though - simple, not huge and of course, the logo.

The Stones can buy an adorned stage from Mark Fisher, but I doubt if all their money can coax great performances from Richards and Wood. Unless Keith makes a remarkable recovery (very unlikely at his age) they will need all the props and staging they can get to pull off an effective show.

Voodoo lounge stage was really cool but my favourite was Bridges to babylon. Still a nice stage but very simple. You focus more on the music than the stage (something the guys should think about for the upcoming tour to be honest, give me something like BTB !!)

I was at the 1975 Philly show and every other Stones concert After....The Lotus stage without question was the coolest
stage ever...Even cooler when they closed the leaves of the lotus...

To add to that, almost every part of the front row was a great place to stand....even behind the stage as Mick ran around the
whole thing.
Remember the big di*k that came out from the stage during Star Star?

The later concerts were just big platforms, with very big backdrops...While the Lotus stage was really beautiful just on its own..

The Lotus stage from 1975 is the best stage any group has ever used.

Steel Wheels - monolithic insdustrial city scape with many colors. Just awesome.

'No Security' - Ah, Sweetcharmedlife, I forgot about that one. A little bit of yellow and black tape, and the Stones. My absolute favorite Stones concert of them all, Feb '99, Anaheim.

The 1975 stage - they used it in 1976 too, right? - was cool. I know there were some differences but overall it was the Lotus, right? It was just big enough. Great opening too, the unfolding of it to the best performance/version of Honky Tonk Women ever. Big difference from the previous few tours, that is for sure. Much more of a production, of a show.

Too bad Jagger shat howled his way through the songs though.

why nobody mentioned the '81 stage? i like it pretty much.
it's fun to see the construction (on fast mode) of it on the LSTNT movie (during Going to a Go Go, maybe?).

and the backstage part on the begining of Under My Thumb as well...

OT: I have a feeling that within a few hours I will see the most impressive stage so far....The Claw, U2. Actually, that's the reason why I'm going.

The Claw is pretty outstanding (although out of the U2 stages I like ZOO TV the best). I still love this one the best though:

Of course, how stupid of me smiling smiley
Although this is more an indoors type of stage

Ha ha. It seems that the Stones could now build an actual tongue stage that is 3D as opposed to that Supe stage - somewhat similar to the Some Girls tour but the tongue is the stage floor and the mouth parts are the inside of the stage and the outside of the stage (the teeth and the gleams could be video screens and lighting).

I mean, in terms of materials, if they're going to do something, why not do the logo and play IN it?

Lotus stage comes first. It was absolutely beautiful and very "up to date " and forward concept .

I liked the VL stage. When I attended to the Montpellier' show in 95,I was astonished by the cobra .

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .
