So many interesting userids on here. The origins of some are quite obvious; they are Stones songs or references, or simply part or all of the person's actual name. But some I wonder about the origin of. Must be some cool stories of the thought proces behind it. So the question is, how and why did you decide on your forum name? I'm especially interested in hearng stories from with sssoul, gazza, f.u.c. the captain and orange cow.
I'll go first. I love the song Oh No Not You Again, and I thought it would be a funny name for someone who likes to write sarcastic posts. Not to mention more than one person has said or thought that when I walked into a room!

Mez stands for Mesmerizer, as I tend to Mesmerize a great many folks. I cannot share my method, well not in writing. James suffices for this forum. James / MEZ. Lets leave it at that Stoneheads!, at least for now. OK? The MEZ
Stones89 simply means that I started to seriously listen to the Stones in 1989. I had heard selected songs from earlier in my life but when the Steel Wheels album and tour came around, it was the beginning of the end for this guy! lol Kudos to you ohnonotyouagain...I was going to start a thread on this very subject yesterday but thought "nahhhhhh". Keep up the good work!

I have always wanted to visit the flat that the boys shared when they first started out. I finally got to do that when I visited London in 2003. Hoping that James Phelge gets his wish for having the place officially recognized.

I've dedicated my guitar playing to the open-g tuning and have had the same web address for many years. I only found out later, that we have another OpenG on this board. different spelling and different views though - so, this place is big enough for the both of us

I came up with my Grandson's name. He's seven and Autistic and is Epileptic. All came about from a Vaccination related injury. He's a music-lover.His favorite groups are the Beatles and Modest Mouse. He's very high functioning and a lot of fun to be with. Always in a great mood. His favorite song right now is "Yesterday ".He sings it as a up-beat song. The little guy always has a smile on his face.He has a very positive attitude. I love and admire him.Hence,I chose his name. Thanks for reading.
