Not one....pity though there must something out there............and I have an other problem listing for more then 50 years to music I guess I heard it all before....confused smiley:..........the last music that it impressed me was Amy Winehouse and Nirvana grinning smiley

And Amy Winehouse was trying to copy some american soul. Try the real thing if you liked Amy Winehouse. She actually used some musicians from this band:

Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings

I've got to put a word in hear for the Deadstring Brothers. Their new album is great (although one song is pretty much a copy of Dead Flowers...)

(beware of the live versions, it's the furious fiddle that's so sensational about the song)

Ha! Palace.. I just bought the new Ting Tings release yesterday. I love the first two albums and this one has some promise-- There are a couple songs I really like, though

Speaking of 'palace,'... I am enjoying all of Will Oldham's music... aka Bonnie 'Prince' Billy... latest is great.

There is a new Heartless Bastards album coming this year!! Can't wait. The first four albums are amazing, really.

that's definitely a great live band. I'd like to get a dvd of one of their shows too...don't see any available on their website.

I saw them in a small venue 2 years ago, straight up rockand roll with Dan, Warner, Keith C and Mauro M.

Louis Armstrong's All Stars

As INCREDIBLE as the Roling Stones are to me, my sun does not rise and set on their proverbial corner grocery. There are so many bands who I have dug, am digging, and will dig from here on out, until I will list only 10 of the ones in heavy rotation right now:

The Stone Roses
The WAYBACKS
RIDE
Charlatans UK
The Raveonettes
Black Keys
Donna the Buffalo
Grateful Dead
Led Zeppelin
Ten Years After

and many many many more

seeing any of those bands live - amazing..the Bluefields...Homemade Sin..I never got to see the Sufferin Bastards..

they all have the looseness of the Stones/Faces, and I love it

I have a tendency of getting into bands past their prime like Pearl Jam and Social Distortion. That trend continues with Primal Scream

Southeastern is the bomb. They're all pretty good though. Here We Rest is a damn fine LP too.

The only bands I have been really diggin besides Stones the past 40 years is The Saints and Dinosaur Jr. Of course there have been a few good tracks from hundred of bands, but really diggin is to buy all the records from the band, and read all about them and visit their concerts...
