Setlist signing

On the biggest bang dvd I think it´s before the Rio show 2006 when the setlist is handed to Keith and
he signs it.

When and why did this start ? Could imagine it was back in ´89 but I have no real idea or information.

To me it seems as a mixture of a "business thing" and a running gag...are there
other bands doing similar ?

Or am I completely on the wrong track and it was a unique occasion, this setlist
signed probably for some charity purpose,whatever...?

Why should Keith sign it except for charity/fan purpose?
The only thing he is involved in is his set.

jagger and Leavell are doing the setlists.

if i understand the question correctly (i vaguely remember that from the dvd)...i think
he is literally "signing off" on it....to confirm that he's read it and he's ok with the list.

as TooTough said...Mick & Chuck (apparently) decide what will be played and Keith
agrees (w/signature) or disagrees. So they're all on the same page...so to speak.

IORR............but I like it!
