I used to work with a bloke who saw the stones at Eel Pie Island, He moved to Australia in the 70s, and I met him about 10 yrs ago.I think I drove him crazy asking him to share his memories of those days.

Wow! Texas is great, been there many times...but I'll take California's climate anyday. I think if I was told I had to move to Texas (especially Houston) I would get depressed rather quickly.
Well, I grew up in LA so I know the weather there, and I've been to Texas many times and love it there. The people are great, the food is great, the music scene is great. But SF is for the birds. The novelty of living here wore off really fast.
I understand and respect your point, but there is much more to California than just L.A. (which I'm not a big fan of, but I will most likely stay until I retire) and S.F.

All these people from fun places. Me? It's Harm City Baltimore Maryland USA. The jungle. No one gets out alive. Truthfully, a lot of laid back people here - you aren't your job like you are in DC where I come from. Any kind of music within driving distance on any given night. We've got numerous communities of people from various places. The whole world, really.
