I was lucky enough to find this forum. I noticed this is a euro based forum, I'm from Northern NJ, USA. just curious where everybody else is residing?

I do apologize if this has been posted before. I still cannot find the "search" feature of this forum.

Across Lake Pontchartrain due north of Edith Grove.

Somewhat interesting wikipedia page. They left out Hurricane Gustav flooding the town in '08, seven days before Ike did the exact same thing, and also Girod Street is historically inaccurate - it's Gerard St.

Beyond the horizon, over the hills and far away, on the highway to hell, somewhere over the rainbow, down the road apiece, across the universe, on the dark side of the moon...

Born in Bradford, England, then Leeds, Ealing, Frimley & Fleet.
Over to Canada in 1966, Toronto & Regina
Australia in 1977, where for the most part in & around Melbourne.

I've pretty much retired to Yea, just north of Melbourne, where my wife & I are living in the house her Great-Grandfather built in 1939

He was born in Cleckheaten, Yorkshire, about 5 miles away from where I was born, spooky or what.

Kingston upon Thames in SW London Town, just down the road literally from where the good Sir Ron "used" to live with the good lady Ron ... till he flipped and ran off with Kat !! And just across the park from where Sir Mick "used" to live with the good lady Mick, until he ... I've lost track of what he did exactly, but you get the drift ? And coincidentally, where Pete "windmill" Townshend still DOES live, and as far as we know ... he ain't plannin' to run off with anyone just yet. But there's still time I guess ??

Ah yes, dear ole SW London has its fair share of rock n' roll history and royalty residing, or in the case of Mick n' Ron ... "former" residents.

This is one of the ex lady Ron's ventures, run out of the family home ....

And this is the view of the old river Thames meandering away, from the top of Richmond Hill, literally on the sidewalk across from DOWNE HOUSE - where the ex-lady Mick and a couple of junior Micks still live. I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS think of the Licks tour when I'm walking or driving along the summit of Richmond Hill there, because you look out over the river and there, lo & behold, is TWICKENHAM STADIUM !!

[en.wikipedia.org]

It's only rock n' roll, but I really really really do like it .......... !!
