$3.50 in '69 - the cheap seats....better to be in the cheap seats than not in at all. I was in the same situation.

And remember, they played the free concert at Altamont to respond to the uproar over ticket prices being too high! Times have changed.

Without the recordings those ticket stubs would be mere memories, but those shows have been preserved and we know what happened that night. I see Baltimore and think of LIV and the SFTD performance; MSG the 27th, Taylor's sweet little I'm Free solo. Kudos to the bootleggers!

Again, when I heard the 11/8/69, 2nd recording some 28+ years after the fact, my stomach was churning I was so excited. Talk about time traveling!
