Posted by: BluzDude ()

So far I know of 3 iorrians going to the Canyon Club show.
Anyone else planning on going to this show?

We could use this thread for anyone going to any of his shows to possibly hook up with other iorrians.

Well, then you can wait very long I presume. But don't you know his number? Ask him by the way if he did new overdubs etc. or that Mathijs is right. And give him my regards please thank you.

i have his number somewhere, yeah, but have very little occasion to call him; it's turned into a mostly one-sided relationship since he quit the stones.

He'll be in Detroit on May 9th, playing a TINY club, actually, it's more of a restaurant, called Alvin's. I suppose I should WANT to go, especially with all the hoopla surrounding Exile. I don't know. I've seen him three times ('87, '99, '01). Wouldn't MIND going, but .... just not feelin' the fever these days. Got my own stuff to work on ....

I saw the schedule too, but playing in Virginia one day and California the next day?

Re: Mick Taylor Tour

A friend and his wife had to cancel on me so I have two tickets to see Mick
Taylor this Saturday night May 1st at the Bull Run in Shirley Mass. available...The Bull Run is a very small venue with table seating, waitress service and holds about 300 people...Not sure where my tix are but they are close to the stage as I bought them way back when he was supposed to play there last year before the show was rescheduled.

[tickets.bullrunrestaurant.com]

Face value is $90 for the two but I will accept any reasonable offers...

PM me if interested.......

Is that a joke!?!...and Brian the dog? Someone must have pulled a fast one on Pollstar.

Canyon Club and ticketmaster Still Shows Taylor and Knopfler - Frank Jr's web site and ticketmaster make no mention of this.

I got a ticket for the May 5th show at BB KIngs in NYC. Hopefully Mick T. will sign autographs and stay for pics after the show is over. I'm bringing my vinyl Plundered My SOul for him to sign, hopefully! Usually after the shows there the artists come out and sit/stand at a table by the stage door and the fans line up there and if the band is selling any merchandise such as CD's or books, they sign autographs. I wonder if Mick T has anything to sell, I havent heard that he wrote any books or made any new CD's but maybe he has old CD's or t-shirts to sell. The tickets were really cheap, under $25! That's a shame, since he is one of the greatest guitarists ever! He has sunk well below Clapton and Jeff Beck who charge $175/gig in NYC, or more!
