My first thought was that he was going to sing Streets Of Love (SOL)

Great version

Nice vocal performance by Taj...

The lead guitarist had a tough act to follow...
Although the guitar player played the right notes, IMO he didn't achieve the flowing, majestic qualities of Mick Taylor's original solos...
I always thought MT's guitar helped to lift that song spiritually.

Wow! Now this is simply beautiful. Leave it to Taj to show everyone how to cover a Stones song! Started my morning off with a spring in my step!

Taj also covers Honky Tonk Women on the "Paint It Blue" CD of Stones covers by blues artists...I like the SAL better.

Also, he sings the theme from "Peep in the Big Wild World" for all you parents out there...

Opposite for me - Loved the Honky Tonk Women version, but this version of SAL didn't do much for me. Actually the outro solo was a highlight.

Exactly. of all the guests this week, Taj has come off with the best performance. Made it his while maintaining the integrity of the original. Green Day probably my second place.

I think Sheryl got too high with The Roots.
