I think this is pretty accurate, skip. I maybe wouldn't rate "Signifying" higher than PMS.
And if "Following The River" is a 2 we need below-zero ratings for most of the Dirty Work songs.
er...I think you're thinking of Barry Levine actually.
I'm all for below zero ratings for most, if not all, of the DW songs.
Can someone pass a resolution to that effect? I'll be happy to second the motion, I'm just a little tied up today to do the actual paperwork.

Title 5 deserves a zero it's a horrible cut. Was and Mick should have tried anything (Pro-tools, overdubs, add. bass parts, Lenny Kravitz, Desmond Childs, Ron Wood) to save this one.

My ratings are for the album. Overall, in the context of their entire discography, it might be different. The basis, though, is the songs, not so much whether they have new overdubs or not. That's why I'm Not Signifying is a 10 for me - it's a KILLER track and why Following The River is a 2, it's a horrible song lyrically, music wise it's too close to some other Exile tunes and it's very very obvious why it was left off the album because Mick didn't write good lyrics for it at the time and he wrote even worse ones for it in '009. Heh.
