Does this mean we can we refer to them as The Small Pistols?

In july's Mojo magazine is said that Chris Robinson (Black Crowes) is to join the Faces early 2011 as a guest singer.

Ronnie also mentioned Slash as guest guitarist on some of the shows.

Mick Taylor and SLASH on the stage seems like overkill! Mick is one of SLASH's influences. If the name is not familiar, Mick Taylor replaced Brian Jones in the Rolling Stones. He was also the only band member to ever quit the Stones. Stones fans either love Mick or hate him. He is an excellent guitar player who grew tired of the Rolling Stones circus.

After that he begun a succesfully solo career with a lot of albums and hit songs that everybody have heard at least 100 times in their lives. Just an ezxcellent sessionist. Stop. Steve Lukather is at least is a nice composer.

Seems a bit of a low key start to what MIGHT be a Faces reforming job, but maybe they're just being super cautious and testing the waters before going onto anything on a larger scale. 11th August .......

Then two days later on the 13th they're playing at Goodwood

Don't know what they're doing after that ........ anyone ? Would love to see them elsewhere too.

Mick Taylor was not the only Stones to quit: Bill Wyman.

Mick Taylor and Slash did not play together in September 2002, Mick
Taylor was playing on that festival with the band Indigenous instead.
Also we are talking Ronnie Wood here and he and Slash play together
very well.

Which would be a lot more natural choice than this Simpy Red fellow, except Chris is not
Brittish.

Indirect: I don't like Slash's playing and his silly hat and sunglasses.
He leans on his exaggerated guitar sound, but he is mainly pose.. imo
