I always appreciate the gearheads here, especially those who rewally know the history of the Stones' equipment. I thought I knew a lot about this until I discovered this place.

I agree. Doxa has great posts, withsSoul too. I just can't remember everybody! I will defend kleer because at least he writes some intelligent stuff, and sometimes it challenges us. The only ones I don't like are people who take things personally and resort to insults, though admittedly I have given as good as I got when people have picked a fight with me. Need to develop a thicker skin and let it go when that happens. the smarter folks here do that.

I'm too new to list any favourites, but I do enjoy the posters that can make me laff, and several of you have a wicked sense of wit which I heartily appreciate!
Beyond a source of Stones information, I appreciate the people on this board for their sense of entertainment.
I do have to say some of the OT posts are also interesting/informative...ie the Gulf Oil Disaster post.

There are many great posters on IORR who never fail to keep me interested, from Rockman Down Under to Erik Snow up North. I prefer those who don't feel urged to put their "stamp" (mostly stubbornly fixed opinions) on every thread, thereby destroying the wonderful diversity of standpoints and characters on this forum. Sadly some strong contributors have kept a low profile lately. I especially think of retired dog whose insights and knowledge I really admire.
