I think it would be a smart business counterpart rather a fellow musician

A sharp wise guy with good hears, or a pioneer in his own in his field, even a scam artist that ripped them off with talent - say Ahmet Ertegun, prince Rupert Lowenstein (Keith praises this one) or Allen Klein.

But I don't think the person they would admire the most would be a musician, at least a contemporary one - in that respect Graham Parsons, Ry Cooder or other skilled player they have crossed may have got some admiration in the Stones eyes, but eventually were more seen like disposable material.

Like one says, this a two-cent guess, let's stay humble.

How about Chuck Berry?

They love his music and he's known for being tight with money, the latter being more attractive to Mick!

You know, all the "Michael Cohl talk, dead presidents, financial advisor," talk aside, it WOULD be interesting to know thr answer to that question. I'm sure they respect Cohl for being incredibly good at what he does. He's made them rich and there's not a damn thing wrong with that. All of us would gladly change bank accounts with them.

But I truely believe they would have some interesting and good answers to that question.

I'm sure ghostryder's right. You'd get different answers from all of them. Maybe it Would be Chuck Berry or Muddy Waters for Keith. Maybe a jazz king for Charlie. Hairball might be right about the Beatles, and why not.

I'd bet ROLLINGSTONE is right as well, with at least one or two of them.

Ah, yes. Don McLean. I have a question about Don. When he watched "him" on the stage, were his hands "clenched in fists of rage"? Or were they "clenched in fisted rage"? To me, it always sounded like he was saying "fisted".
