On the boots, he is leading the stones to the pub half of the songs fell apart. Some were never played again. But I can imagine it was an experience to be in Philly at that time to watch the tour opening shows. Lucky you

I love Keith, and I hope he's bringing the rest of the band for a new tour soon. But, to be diplomatic, there are better 1981 shows than the Philly shows out there
Why was SAL so bad? Connection, T&A and SFTD were awful, yes. But there were lots of great tunes as well. Bad sound? All Down The Line, Some Girls and Shattered all sound good to me. So does She Was Hot.

blondie is a very talented electric guitar player....one of my alltime fave shows (largely owing to blondie) was a butterfield/danko gig in '79....
