Yeaah, Johnnys version of JJF is fantastic. Probaly the only version that kicks beyond the original. This is a rock version that kicks in all gears of rock'n roll music. Can't be done better that this.
Johnny do also cover several other Stones classics, love them all. I have all Johnnys LP's in my LP raksmiling smiley

I agree a great version.... but I also love the version from The Concerts for Bangladesh with Leon Russle, great version and a great seque into Young Blood, then back to Jumping Jack Flash. Leon just belts it hard and furiously.

got some great pix of JW on my website...also did the cover shot on his latest DVD...his covers of the songs by the Stones were far superior IMHO... peterstupar.com

t&a's on vacation - but stonestod can fill in here. johnny's da bomb. seeing him in a few weeks...he's lost some of "it" but he had plenty of "it" to lose, so "it's" cool....

Notice on jjf both guitars are playing through gigson humbuckers and marshalls...give a heavyer sound than single coils through fenders in my humbel opinion.
