Actually Mick shows a lot of understanding for people who listen to music by free
downloads. He even goes as far as stating that he would have downloaded music from
Little Richard and Muddy Waters in the 50s if it would have been possible. It takes a
lot of money to get a complete music collection.
He does not seem to be too bothered about the revenues for artists, although he sees
the problem for new bands to come around, since record companies won't give them record
deals. But the business model is changing every 12 months, and the music industry will
find ways to deal with it, he suggests.

You are probably right, although I hate to say it, and that is why I do not believe that this concert will happen. Maybe Mick Jagger was asked if he could imagine something like that, and of course he cannot deny it.Quote

together to add tracks to Plundered My Soul. He actually says: "It was just like the old
days. I just sat Mick down, and we did it in, like, half an hour".
He states about this song: "He wasn't on it, I wasn't on it".
And also: "I did one overdub with Keith on So Divine, but his parts were all done already".
Some nice words on working with Nicky Hopkins too.
Interesting how he speaks about downsloading music for free.

They HAVE already with "360 package" record deal = the fat cats behind their esks get a cut on things they have nothin to do with : gig tix, tour t-shirts (and sodas sold at the venues soon?).
If you're a young singer about to be signed make sure "they" don't get a cut of your grand-ma's pension...

At least...that's an idea that's currently running and Mick will announce tonight on Dutch television on Nova on NL3 around 10pm.
He says that the Stones want to do the entire Exile album during a concert in the Paradiso in Amsterdam!
