I have the "Stripped Companion" CD and while the acoustic outtakes sound great, they do seem a little bit compressed and flat sounding.

I read somewhere a long time ago that there was a better source for these tracks, can anybody recommend a better source for those few acoustic tracks, if indeed there is one.

I also have "Stripped Companion". Wasn't this the very first release featuring the acoustic tracks? ... Don't really know where they are sourced from, but I assumed subsequent releases on other labels just ripped it all from "Stripped Companion" albeit tweaked or re-mastered.

I'm not sure, but Honest I Do was officialy released on a charity compilation, so perhaps there are better mixes out there.

Wasn't the story that a DAT of some of the Toshiba songs got "lost" and leaked beyond the "record industry insiders" circles?
