The store I was in refused to sell anybody more than one copy of any of the releases that were put out today . I went home , changed clothes and wore a different pair of glasses ( my clever disguise ) but there were none left exactly 12 minutes after I had been in the store .Quote

Sorry to hear that UrbanSteel. I was going to buy some extras for people here but alas there was but one left by the time I got my shot at the 45 rack.

One participating record store in London told me they'd have 50 copies. But my FNAC order has been dispatched - yeah!!
Was that Sister Ray on Berwick Street by any chance Beast? Due to prior commitments I couldn't get down there this morning but dropped by this afternoon on the off-chance. Needless to say, it was a wasted journey, they had people queueing outside the door this morning (not just for the Stones vinyl admittedly) and so their 50 copies went pretty quickly.
It was still fun to feel the vibe in Soho that Record Store Day created with one outlet having an 'All-Dayer' with assorted DJs...... As one t-shirt I saw said : "Long Live Vinyl"!

4 copies (#'s in the 1400's) at $6.99 each. Rhino Records, near L.A. - they had a huge stack...at least 40, and nobody but me was looking at them.
